Single or Client Computers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The following hardware specifications are recommended if you are using DaySmart Spa on one computer in your business. Follow these specifications for the Solo, Standard, and Professional editions of DaySmart Spa. For adequate software performance, please follow at least the minimum hardware specifications. For optimal performance, please follow at least the recommended hardware specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Server Computer in Network<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The following server specifications are for the server computer holding your database. You will have a server computer if you are using the Multi-Computer or Multi-Location edition of DaySmart Spa software. For all other computers in the network, follow the specifications for \u201cSingle or Client Computers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple Locations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When running DaySmart Spa from multiple locations, each location will have a server and one or more client computers on the local network. All locations must be connected to the Internet and be using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to share files and information between the locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For each location, follow the specifications listed under \u201cServer Computer\u201d for the computer holding the database (one per location), and the rest of the computers at each location (clients) should follow the specifications listed under \u201cSingle or Client Computer.\u201d However, when using DaySmart Spa at multiple locations, you must have a full-time Internet connection at each location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
