Where Skincare Meets Soul: The Story of Club Tú Wellness

Adriana Vega didn’t set out to open a facial studio. She set out to understand the skin and the mind behind it. Learn how this solo esthetician is building something intentional, intimate, and entirely her own.

Adriana Vega has always been someone who goes deep.

Whether she’s researching ancient Ayurvedic practices, perfecting a facial protocol, or carefully vetting a new client, Adriana doesn’t do anything halfway. She is the founder of Club Tú Holistic Wellness, a private, appointment-based facial studio where skincare meets sanctuary, and where every detail is curated on purpose.

She’s been operating for a little over a year. And she’s just getting started.

Skin, Science, and a Different Kind of Calling

Adriana’s original plan was medicine. She wanted to become a dermatologist with a focus on cognitive science, as the intersection of skin and mind had always fascinated her. But the more she looked at the conventional medical path, the less it felt like hers.

“I realized I don’t agree with our current medical system and didn’t want to waste time on something that causes me more anxiety than happiness,” she says.

So, she redirected. She kept her love of skin, kept her obsession with the mind-body connection, and channeled both into esthetics. Today, she’s also pursuing certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, bringing ancient, holistic wisdom directly into her treatment room.

It shows.

Built on Her Own Terms

Entrepreneurship isn’t new to Adriana. Both of her parents run their own businesses, and she grew up watching them model what it looks like to bet on yourself.

“My parents taught me that working under someone isn’t necessarily bad, but what are the chances of having a boss who aligns with your ideals and goals?”

She already knew the answer. So, when the time came, she built Club Tú Wellness from scratch. Her vision, her standards, her pace.

“I’ve always known I wanted Club Tú. I’m striving to create the vision in my head.”

The Part Nobody Prepares You For

Ask Adriana what she wishes someone had told her before she started, and she doesn’t hesitate: the administrative side of running a business is its own skill set, and esthetics school barely scratches the surface.

“I’m grateful I have some background in business and a family that’s highly business-oriented,” she says. “But that doesn’t make the transition from wanting to have fun with facials to being in big-boss mode any easier.”

It’s an honest reality for a lot of new solo operators. The work you love and the work of running a business are two very different things.

Showing Up Online (Even When It Doesn’t Come Naturally)

Adriana will be the first to tell you: social media is not her comfort zone.

“I’m not into social media like that at all. Not being consistent with my content, that’s the hurdle I’m still working on.”

But she’s actively working on it. She’s planning to collaborate with influencers and social media managers to build her presence more intentionally, reels for new clients, and a newsletter-style approach for her existing community. Recently, something serendipitous happened that gave her a real glimpse of what authentic content could look like.

She sat next to a creative professional on a train. He loved her business concept, came to her space, and wanted to tell her story. His husband modeled. They did facials. They had a content day, and Adriana loved every second of it.

That’s the kind of storytelling she’s leaning into. Follow along at @ClubTuWellness on Instagram.

A Genuine, Borderline Obsessive Love for the Work

When asked what she loves about the industry, Adriana’s answer is simple: everything.

She reads about treatments she’ll never offer, dives deep into topics just because they interest her, and genuinely cannot help but learn more.

“Sometimes I give myself informational comas from deep diving into a topic, then I need a break to process what I just learned.”

That depth of curiosity is part of what makes her so effective, and why her clients trust her.

The Support System Behind the Dream

Adriana doesn’t do this alone. She has a support system she describes as “wonderfully structured” including family, close friends, and the community she’s built around her studio. People who genuinely root for her.

And then there’s her secret weapon.

“My strive for perfection and passion for wellness are part of it, but the real answer is I have the best bookkeeper and financial analyst ever: my mother.”

A Sanctuary, Not Just a Studio

Club Tú Wellness isn’t for everyone, and that’s by design.

Adriana’s studio is private, appointment-based, and highly curated. She’s intentional about her clientele, because she knows the energy people bring into a space shapes the experience for everyone inside it. She describes the vibe as a “home away from home” a sanctuary for peace and rejuvenation where clients aren’t rushed, aren’t treated like numbers, and leave feeling genuinely cared for.

“It’s not just about their skin. It goes beyond that.”

Her long-term vision is to finish her master’s degree, build a solid client base, get her finances in order, and then make a full move into her own dedicated space without cutting corners to get there.

Her Advice to New Estheticians

For anyone just stepping into the industry, Adriana’s guidance is clear and comes from experience:

How DaySmart Salon Fits into the Picture

Adriana found DaySmart Salon the way a lot of good things happen, with a little research, a little help, and the right fit at the right time.

Her dad’s wife helped her compare booking software options. A quick search surfaced a few platforms, and DaySmart immediately caught her attention.

She tried the free trial. Her sales rep walked her through the options and helped her find the package that made the most sense for a solo esthetician running a small, boutique operation.

She’s been using it ever since.

“I love that it’s a very wide-spectrum software that has a platform for all kinds of services. I love the layout and think it’s easy to navigate.” But the feature that really sealed it? Text messaging.

As a solo provider without a separate business line, being able to reach clients directly through the platform has been a game changer for how she communicates and connects.

For a business built on private, personal experiences, having software that keeps everything organized and professional in the background means Adriana can stay focused on what she does best: creating a space where clients feel truly seen.
