Give Your Pup a Role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the easiest ways to have a wedding with your pet is to make sure that you give them a role. This one of the best ways to subtly integrate them into your wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing you should do is try and figure out which role (or roles) you want your pet to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flower Dog<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t have anyone that would be a good candidate for flower girl, you can assign your dog to this role!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will be able to carry a basket of flowers in their mouth, letting some of the flower petals fall out as they trot down the aisle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you decide to do this, you should make sure that the flowers are safe and won\u2019t hurt your dog if they decide that they want to try and eat a few of the fallen flowers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ring Bearer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your dog obviously won\u2019t be able to hand you the rings, but they can do a really good job of bringing them to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to make your dog your ring bearer, you could tie a cushion onto their back and attach the rings to that. You could also hook them onto the dog\u2019s collar so that all the dog has to do is just walk to the front of the wedding ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is another way you could make your dog part of your wedding party. You should consider how obedient your dog is and how comfortable they are with social settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you think they\u2019ll behave, you could have them walk down the aisle along with your wedding party. You should still probably have someone hold them on a leash, but you can decorate the leash to fit your ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
